Christmas in the News: The Boys' Vought, Christmas Tree in June & Hobby Lobby Christmas

Welcome back to more Christmas... in the news. We are edging closer to that time of year when talking about Christmas crafts and shopping is more normal. I'm seeing more news items about the holidays.

We start with a TVLINE article from today about the Vought on Ice skaters, who performed "Let's Put the Christ Back in Christmas." You can read details here.

In Franklin, TN, NewsChannel5 out of Nashville reported on a family tradition that became a community tradition. And now, that family is lighting their Christmas tree in June for their ailing father and grandfather, who is battling cancer. Click here to read more of this touching story and watch the report.

If you are ready to start your Christmas crafting, Fox 8 News out of Cleveland, OH, is reporting on social media posts talking about Christmas decorating and crafting supplies already on the shelves in Hobby Lobby stores. Is it too soon? Well, not for me. You can read more about the Hobby Lobby Christmas season roll out here.

That's it for this week. See you next time!

  1. I'm not thinking about Christmas, too absorbed in surviving this summer heat! But it's something to look forward to.
